Welcome to the MetroWest Opera website! We are very excited to be entering into our third season. We had our inaugural season in March 2008, which was a huge success. We presented Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and Douglas Moore's Gallantry. In our 2009 season, we presented Ravel's L'enfant et les sortlieges and Mozart's The Impresario. Our operas are presented fully staged and costumed, with chamber orchestra. We have featured some of the Boston area's finest emerging young opera singers! MISSION STATEMENT
MetroWest Opera was created to provide quality performance opportunity to emerging young opera singers, while enriching the arts community in the MetroWest area. We strive to create the most professional atmosphere possible, with top-notch staff, excellent organization, and high expectations of all involved. This provides a real-world operatic experience for the rising stars who sing with us.
